Sizzling Steak Power Bowl

Recipe Name: Sizzling Steak Power Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 500g tenderloin steak
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup of quinoa
  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil
  • 1 large avocado
  • 100g baby spinach
  • 200g cherry tomatoes
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Lemon juice from half a lemon

Instructions:

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat one teaspoon of olive oil in a pan on high heat.
  3. When the oil is hot, cook the steak according to your desired doneness (3-4 minutes each side for medium rare).
  4. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes. Then slice it thinly.
  5. While the steak is resting, cook the quinoa as directed on the packet.
  6. Slice the avocado and cherry tomatoes in half.
  7. Assemble the bowl starting with quinoa as the base, then spinach, avocado, tomatoes, and finally, place the sliced steak on top.
  8. Drizzle the remaining olive oil and lemon juice all over the bowl. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish.
