Lemon Garlic Butter Herb Pork Chops

Recipe Name: Lemon Garlic Butter Herb Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • Four 8-ounce boneless pork chops
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Six cloves of garlic, minced
  • One tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • One tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • Juice and zest of one lemon
  • Fresh parsley leaves, to garnish

Instructions:

  1. Let the pork chops come to room temperature, season with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook each side for 4-5 minutes or until well browned.
  3. In the meantime, mix the butter, minced garlic, fresh rosemary, thyme, lemon juice, and zest in a small bowl until well combined.
  4. Once the pork chops are cooked, remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the butter herb mixture. Let it cook for a minute or two until aromatic.
  6. Return the pork chops to the skillet and coat them with the herb butter mixture, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
