Spicy Lamb Kofta with Greek Yoghurt Dip
Ingredients:
For the Lamb Kofta:
- 500 grams lean minced lamb (high in protein, low in carbs)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Handful of fresh coriander, finely chopped
- Zest of one lemon
For the Greek Yoghurt Dip:
- 200 grams low-fat Greek yoghurt (high in protein, low in carbs)
- Juice of one lemon
- Salt to taste
- Handful of mint leaves, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Combine all the ingredients for the lamb kofta in a bowl. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined. Form the mixture into small, oval-shaped koftas.
- Grill the lamb koftas on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.
- While the koftas are grilling, prepare the Greek yoghurt dip. Combine Greek yoghurt, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl. Stir in the chopped mint leaves.
- Once the koftas are ready, serve them with the Greek yoghurt dip on the side.

Plating:
On a clean white plate, arrange 3-4 lamb koftas in a half-moon layout. Place a small dish of Greek yoghurt dip on the opposite side of the plate. Garnish the koftas with a sprinkle of fresh chopped coriander and grated lemon zest. The plate should express a contrast of brown grilled koftas against the white of the Greek yoghurt dip, punctuated with spots of green coriander and pale yellow lemon zest.
